Not sure what to say?

Coach Goddard coached me at Columbia High School in Decatur. He was a rarity - a teacher and coach who knew what he was doing, exhibited high character and a man who knew how to treat people. My thanks to Coach - you did well and I look forward to seeing you in heaven.

Tom was a true professional whose values of honesty and commmitment are so valuable in today's world. As a colleague of Tom's in pupil transportation industry his presence and contributions will certainly be missed.

Bill and Lynn Simpson,Monroe, Ga.

My prayers are with you. May God bless you in your daily walk. Please be comforted in knowing that God needed another beautiful soul to walk and talk with.

My deepest sympathies to the family. You may take some comfort in knowing that Tom is with the Lord.

NAPT Nashville, Tennessee November, 2001

My thoughts and prayers are with you and have faith in knowing that Tom is also taking Heaven one day at a time. Tom was a colleague of mine in the crazy world of student transportation. We both grew up in the East Lake area. Whenever I was down about something that happened I could always call on Tom and be lifted up and wind up smiling or laughing at his words of encouragement and hope. He was a good man during his time on this earth and most important he was my friend. Godbless and God...

My deepest sympathy and prayers are with you. My husband, Jack Hamilton, was a classmate of Tom's at Decatur HS. He was also diagnosed with a malignant brain tumor in February 2006 and passed away in July of 2007. He was treated at Duke. We can know that both Jack and Tom have fought the good fight, for it was surely a fight, and are now cancer free. Please feel free to contact me if you ever would like to talk to someone. Again, my prayers are with you.

Tom was one of my highschool coaches and I knew him from the program. My deepest sympathy.

Tom coached me in football at Columbia High School in Decatur. I remember him being so close to our ages, it was almost like being coached by a buddy. He'll be missed by all. May god bless his family and give comfort. Billy Speer

Tom and I were best of friends when he attended Georgia Southern and where we shared many great times. His passion for life, sense of humor and love for his fellow man were amazing!Your loss is shared by all who knew him.
