Three years ago I met Tom, he was my patient. I saw first hand every day what Tom went through, and through it all he never complained, even though he had every right to. Tom maintained his sense of humor and wonderful personality in spite of his illness. I will never forget the many talks we had about food and cooking and the jokes we would tell each other. Tom was a kind and gentle person who loved to help others. He was a perfectionist in everything he did and his woodworking was 2nd to none. He loved the outdoors and the time I spent with him fishing and golfing will never be forgotten. He lived for the moment. Money and material meant little.
