Send FlowersGRIMES, Thomas C. - Of Clio, age 52, died Thursday, February 23, 2006 at his residence. Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Thomas was born in Flint, MI on November 14, 1953. He married Mildred Rupright on November 16, 1974 in Flint. He enjoyed watching NASCAR Races, spending time with his granddaughter, fishing and singing Karaoke with his friends. Thomas retired from the City of Flint with 20 years of service. Surviving are wife, Mildred "Midge" of Flint; 2 sons Tommy Grimes and Scott Grimes, both of Flint; daughter, Stacey Grimes of Flint; granddaughter, Madisen; mother, Eleanor Brow of Florida; 2 brothers, Bill Grimes and Garth Brow; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, William Grimes.

I remember when my dad taught me how to ride my bike without training wheels...I ran into the fence and fell down...but he didn't stop helping me to ride it. I will miss him so much! Love you dad!
