There are no words, and definitely no reason, to describe the shock and sadness of losing Uncle Tom. Everyone who met Tom loved him and remembers him. I'm amazed at the response from people randing from my grade school friends, to cousins-in-law, to basically anyone who had a chance to spend time with him. Everyone knew and loved "Uncle Tom" - he was truly one of the nicest, most friendly, and funny people - he brought energy, fun and laughter to all get-togethers. I can still hear him...

To the best uncle anyone could ever ask for. Never felt closer to any guy (except dad). I can remember all that he did for everyone going back all of my years. Blessed we just got the chance to see him again over the holidays. That's what makes this so unreal. We were just talking and having a beer a few days ago. Everybody has such kind words for Tom. We are so fortunate he was able to meet and enjoy Josh and Hailey. He will be so missed by all but more by myself. I enjoyed coming back...

Tom was a wonderful uncle to my husband and sister in law. He was very involved in their lives and came to all our family events. He even became very involved as a Great Uncle and I am sad that our children will not have a chance to get to know him better. I will really miss seeing him at all our family parties.
