Not sure what to say?

Thanks to everyone for their love, prayers, and sympathy. Dad is gone but the memories will always live on. He fought strong and hard thru his illness and is a hero of life itself. He will always be my precious hero. God received a very special angel when he took my dad.

I will miss him forever.

I love you daddy........

We
just learned of Tom's death .We send our condolances and supportive
thoughts to Marty and the girls. You were all good neighbors and good
friends. We sort of all grew up together at the Lake and we choose to
remember all those good times. We are glad our paths crossed and will
continue to remember Tom and all the Grubaughs fondly. You are all in
our thoughts. Love, Al and Kay Davis

Grandpa
I feel so priveleged to have been a part of your family and to know you. I love the stories you told and playing golf with you. The memories we shared will always be with me and you are a part of my heart. I love you.

I am so sorry for your loss, but so glad I have so many wonderful memories growing up as his "other daughter".
Memories like Mom and Dad Grubaugh dancing at my wedding, Julie and I crashing Dad's snow mobile into the street sign, Julie and I running his speed boat out of gas clear across the lake, and the memory of his wonderful voice will stay with me forever.
My thoughts are with you all

The biggest lives leave behind the biggest voids, and the challenge is to fill that emptiness with happy memories instead of grief. He will be missed long and long and long again.

I would like to thank all of you for the special notes, flowers, and calls my mom has received at her home..

A friend sent this to me..I wanted to share..

God Knew

That you were suffering
That the hills were hard to climb
So he gently closed your eyelids
And whispered "Peace be thine".
In tears we watched you sinking
We watched you fade away
Our hearts were surely broken
You fought so hard to stay.
But when we saw you sleeping,
So peaceful,...

We are very sorry to hear of your loss and are glad to have talked with Mr. Grugaugh at Scotty's graduation earlier this year. We had a very nice conversation with him about travel, camping and motor homes and of the wonderful trips that were greatly enjoyed.

Best regards,

Conn and Sheri Macomber
