Dearest Alice Kaye and Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Tom. He will always be special to me and my children. He was more than an emplyer for me. He was a supportive friend and advisor and I know I could count on him to understand and help if I ever needed him. I took advantage of his good nature so many times and was the brunt of his teasing humor a time or two as well. If there is anything I can ever do for you and yours I would hope that you would let me know as I feel I owe you...

Dear Mrs. Guyer & all Dr. Guyers family, I'm so sorry to hear about Dr. Guyer's death. It was quite a shock to read about it in today's paper.

He and my father are the same age. Daddy passed away just two months ago of a sudden illness. Like my father, Dr. Guyer was a fine man, a leader and good example to all who looked up to him. Bless you all during this most difficult time and always.
