Not sure what to say?

I will certainly miss Buck's smiling face at First Lutheran on Sunday mornings. He was a hard worker for the church and will be a big loss for us. A good Christian man - he was one of the best! Marcy (Bonham) Sharit, Gardendale, AL

The Halbrook house was everyone's favorite destination growing up in our neighborhood. There was always something interesting going on and they always made you feel welcome. Thanks, Mr. and Mrs Halbrooks, for such wonderful childhood memories.
We will miss you.Love and thoughts to the Halbrook family.

The Halbrooks family welcomed my family and I to the neighborhood when we moved to AL many years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Halbrooks were always gracious and made me feel as if I were part of their family whenever I came over to visit. No doubt Mr. and Mrs. Halbrooks are reunited in Heaven.

Uncle Buck's 85th Birthday Party.

Uncle Buck and the extended family.

My wife Rita and I went to one of the Halbrooks family's canoe trip/ campouts. It was the most fun that I have ever had camping out! Uncle Buck was one of the main reasons for that. I will surely miss him because of that trip. I have to look at the bright side of this, he is with Dot now, and that is where he was happiest. Sympathy for the family and we will see all of you Friday.
Goodbye Uncle Buck. We will miss you.
Love Ron and Rita.

The Halbrooks family lived next door to my family for many years and I remember many wonderful camping experiences we shared - tent camping in the Smokies and later on in the pop-up campers. I also remember listening to his side-band on my transistor radio, it was so interesting that later on I became a "Ham" radio operator. I'm sure this family will truly miss such a wonderful man.

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss. May the family and friends find all the comfort you need during this time. (Isaiah 2:4)- Brown Family

I worked with the "Sheriff" in the early 1970's at Alagasco. I was Tommy Humphreys assistant and the Electronics Department was under his supervision. Mr. Halbrooks was a pleasure to work with. I always enjoyed seeing him when he would come up to the "1918 Building." I have many fond memories of those years at Alagasco because of the many great people I had the priviledge to work with.

He will be greatly missed at the canoe campouts sitting around the fire telling this newbie gas employee about the good old days.

Love,
