Thomas Edward "Buddy" HALLIS Jr.

I just heard of Tom's passing, and I'm very sorry to learn this. Tom was a friend through the doctor I attend, and was great for talking good sense. The last time I saw Tom was about two Springs ago, during my bi annual doctor's visit in Sheffield Village. I don't get out much, and then, I believe he was commenting about retirement. One year today. Still missing my Tom.

I had the privilege to work with and get to know Major Tom Hallis during our recent mission to Serbia. His humor and kindness will always be remembered. I pray that those that love him will find comfort in knowing he touched many lives.

It is with much sadness this news was received. Maj Hallis never met a stranger... and was an exceptional man and leader that always served as an example. His work ethic and level of compassion were exemplary. Im so sorry for the loss. Its one that is felt many places. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I was very Blessed to have spent the two beautiful weeks with Major Hallis on the Big Island of Hawaii! He always had a smile and a great story to tell! He will be missed by his fellow medics! Rest In Peace Tom! Love, Lauri Brown
