Leslie, Drew & Family, Allison & Family,
Very saddened to hear - friend, former neighbor, and co-worker, has left us so suddenly. You have been in my thoughts and prayers since I heard the news. With being down south I won't be there to give hugs or pray with you. May you be comforted by the memories and the fun he shared with us. Consider this note a big virtual hug from me.
Take Care, Linda (Maday) Lutterman

Tom (Mr. Hammer) was a kind man, I believe it was one of his 1st years at FHS when I was in DECA and the class called Model Store back in '73 or '74. We kind of gave him a hard time, but he took it in stride and always had a kind word. Even now all these years later he never forgot his "students". Drew and Allison, always remember your Dad for the kind man he was. Leslie, all my sympathies to you. Stay strong. I know you both made many memories, keep them in your heart!!

Tom was a great guy. He was a very fun, open, and friendly man. He was always good to us kid's back in the day and he was always there to listen to you if you were having any problems or issues. He has helped many young women and men achieve their GED's and or helped with their academics over the years. All in all he was a wonderful, nice guy. My thoughts are with the family, I wish them nothing but the best moving forward. It is never easy to lose a family member, especially this time of...

Tom (Mr Hammer) had such a love for all people and a special gift for making every person he met feel valued. He was always a "day brightener". During these dark days, may you find comfort and peace from the Savior.

Mr. Hammer "hammertime" as he was so lovingly called in the halls of FHS, was a great man. A wonderful friend, teacher and mentor to so many kiddos that were lucky enough to call him their teacher. He will be missed by former students and friends. I am so sorry for your loss and for the loss of this dedicated dad, grandfather and friend. Blessings to Leslie, Drew and Allison. And, to all of the other family members and friends that got to experience life with Tom Hammer........ what a...

I am so very sorry for the loss of your dad and grandpa. We spent so much time together growing up between our houses and outdoors that your family was a part of my childhood too. I remember playing at your house all day and then your dad would come home. I immediately felt I had to go home then and as a child I'm sure I never said, but I was afraid of men with mustaches! I remember driving with you, Drew, Sherri and your dad everyday to school. Then, of course I had the privilege of...
