Dear Barbara and Brent,
Thank you for letting me know about your Dad's passing away. I am saddened by the news, but it is a blessing that he can now be with his beloved wife, your mother, my dear sister Bettie, and your sister Pat, in the loving embrace of our Father in Heaven. I am thankful for our last visit together in Johnstown in 2007. I am united with you in prayer for your Dad, my dear brother-in-law, Tom.

I was sadden by the news of your father and grandfather's death. He was very dear to the Naquin family. I can still see he and your mother on their wedding day. Also I fondly remember them pacing out side of the house when they were getting ready to come in and tell Dad and Mother that they wanted to get married. Your father was so handsome in his uniform. He did not like garlic, but mother managed to put some in her cooking and he never realized it.

I believe we knew each other years ago at St. Mark's Episcopal Church. Your sister Patty was about my age. I'm sorry to learn about the death of your father, and that of your mom and Patty. Just wanted to reach out from miles and years away to let you know: I remember you and your family.
