Gary and I were so sad to recently hear of Tom´s passing. He was a good neighborhood friend of Gary´s. When I started dating Gary, I enjoyed Tom´s friendship, too. We ran into another neighborhood friend, of all things, last week in Eastern Washington. He informed us he had attended Tom´s funeral. We were so sorry to not be there. I knew Tom back in 60's and 70's he was a good worker and a good friend to the Payne family and many others on Tacoma Ave south he grew up on 88th D St south couple blocks over.

Sending many condolences from the Teamsters 174 staff. We heard many stories about Tom from Marie and they truly seemed like the perfect match. Thinking of you all during this difficult time.

Tom was a very good friend. I worked with him many years in Tacoma. He was always happy and would give the shirt off his back at the blink of an eye. I'll miss him.

Did Tom (Tommy) and family live on about 80th and Thompson in Tacoma. Moved away after the 9th grade?
