Hastings, Thomas R. 55, of Maple Grove. World's best husband, father, son, brother, and friend died Oct. 6, 2008 peacefully at home after a courageous battle with cancer. Survived by wife, Debra; son, Robert (Jessamine); daughter, Lindsay; parents, Robert and Jean; sisters, Heather Cassidy (Mark) and Heidi Hastings; sister-in-law, Barb Peterson (Mark Roudane'); aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Born Aug. 1, 1953 in Kenosha, WI, Tom is a graduate of Luther College and worked as a mortgage banker for Bell Mortgage. Tom was a kind, gentle man who loved his family, friends, fishing, and Neil Young. His kindness and generous spirit will be sorely missed. Rest in peace, Tom. We love you. Funeral service 11 am Friday at Lord of Life Lutheran Church, 18500 County Road 101 (at Bass Lake Rd). Visitation 5 to 8 pm Thursday at Gearty-Delmore Plymouth Chapel, 37th Ave. N. and Vicksburg Lane. Gearty-Delmore Plymouth 763-553-1411
