Not sure what to say?

I am his sister's son. What most people do not think about, is that Uncle Tommy was a "Southern Country Boy" at heart. His demeanor and personality, was pure Southern Gentleman. He seemed to be very frugal, like my Momma. Every time Uncle Tommy came to visit his sister in Charlotte, it was a big occasion. He was the top dog. He was always "down to earth, salt of the earth." I always thought it was funny that he resembled Donald Trump so much, because he was the exact opposite of him...

TOM WAS THE BEST BOSS I EVER HAD.

Paulette
His silver hair, tall frame, great smile and warm disposition is all I needed to know of Tom when you all lived in Chevy Chase and Columbia CC members. He never bragged about any of his credits which I am now aware of....he was just a good guy we all were all proud to have as a friend.

We missed him when you all moved but knew he was with us physically in Blufton; he is now with us in spirit. I will keep him in my prayers.

Our deepest sympathies for the passing of Mr. Henderson, the first appointed chief of the elite Public Integrity Section, Criminal Division, US Dept. of Justice.

Paulette, I'm sorry for your loss. He was a good man with style. Our thoughts are with you.

Tom, was a class act, he treated everyone he knew as if we were all his best friends. I am so sorry to hear that he is on another journey for the Lord! Please know, Ray and I are thinking of you and your family. Prayers for all of you.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies on Tom's passing. May the Peace of Christ be with Tom and his family. I am sorry I will not be able to go to the Celebration of Life services.
With Love, Your Cousin,
M/M R.Kim ("Dennie")Prater & Family

Dear Paulette, Tom was a good man and a good colleague. He will be missed by all of us who knew him. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. with our sympathy, John and Eileen

Paulette, It was good talking with you and I appreciate your taking the time to do so. I just realized that it was 40 years ago when I started working for Tom as his secretary in Public Integrity. What a fine man and the best boss ever. The photo in the paper is beautiful. In that I thought of him -- he has always been one of my favorite people -- out of the blue tonight and decided to see what he was up to, you can only imagine my shock at finding his obituary. You and your family and Tom...
