Paul, I send my deepest sympathy to you and your entire family. Your dad was a wonderful parent, role model and friend, --one in which we could all learn from and will be deeply missed. I'll pray for your sense of peace and comfort in the coming days and weeks.

Your father was a wonderful man. He gave me my first job after law school as his first law clerk at the Supreme Court. He was a dedicated Justice and served on the Court with honor and distinction. I learned so much working for him. Much later we were law partners at Porter Wright. He was a great mentor, partner and teacher. His dry sense of humor and his easy style with people made him a delight to be with, even in stressful situations and working on difficult cases....

Lisa, Paul and families...so very sorry to hear about your father. Hopefully there is some comfort in knowing he is reunited with your mom. Wishing you peace and healing.
