Not sure what to say?

Met Tom in 1963, when he worked for Ecker, at Sandburg Village, a very friendly, honest and decent person, R I P May God be with you...

My name is Esther - the daughter of Victor Nieblas, a Cuban immigrant that came to Chicago in 1967. This evening my dad is reminiscing his days of working with Tom in early 1970. I just went online to check on the family name and came across the sad news of his loss. My father has fond memories of the years he worked with Tom, and his team. I remember as a child meeting Tom and as a little 5/6 year old remembered him to be a very nice person and boss to my dad.. My father and I are both...

Tom will always have a special spot in my heart and mind. A person
who did his job with Joy and the highest level of expertise. On my first project with Hester Decorating the job was completed and approved. As I was packing up in comes Tom. He surveyed the room and decided there were some spots not to his standards, before we knew it he had his crew making the improvements ( which we hadn't even noticed). That exemplified the man who brought the Best to all he did usually with a...

Tom, you are someone that I thought would always be there, and you will be! Love & God Bless, James P. Hester (Jim)

Tom Hester will be sorely missed. His smile, joy, jokes, kindness, integrity, love of family, and easy going manner were unequaled. He made my husband a better person. We are where we are because of him. He was always ready to lend a helping hand in any way he could and he never expected anything in return. Tom had a great life and he enjoyed it. The world is truly dimmer without him in it. I love you Tom!

Jeff, Tom & Steve, The Cahans are sending our deepest sympathy to you and your family. We considered him more then a friend and he always brought much joy to us. What a great loss and he will never be forgotten.

Jeff, deepest condolences to you and your family on the loss of your father. May his memory be eternal.

So sorry to hear about Tom. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

On behalf of Fr. Scott Donahue and Mercy Home for Boys & Girls, we would like to extend our heartfelt condolences and prayers to the family and friends of Thomas Hester.

May the angels lead him into paradise; may the martyrs come to welcome him and take him to the holy city, the new and eternal Jerusalem.
