Not sure what to say?

To Elaine, Children, and Grandchildren:
I was saddened to learn of Tom's death. You are all in my prayers and thoughts as we go through this holiday season. It is never easy to lose someone we love, but it seems even harder during Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Tom was a awesome man. He helped change many lives for the better, including my own. I thank him and Elaine for providing a safe place for me to recover. He gave me a special medallion I will carry until I too am released...

Dear Elaine, Kelly, Kara, Mark and Sherry,

I was very sad yesterday when I learned of Tom's death. When I heard that he was sick a few months ago I called him, because I couldn't let him go without telling him how much he meant to me. He literally saved my life. It's important that people know that their lives made a difference, and his certainly did. He was an amazing person I am blessed to have known.

I will keep you all in my prayers. I hope that you find a way through your...

Dear Elaine:
So sorry to hear Tom passed. All of us that belong to Savannah's Quaker Meeting are holding you in the light. If we can do anything to help, please let us know.
Sincerely,
Janet Pence

Dear Elaine and Family,

All of us at the Savannah Quaker Meeting were sorry to hear of your loss and we will continue to hold you in the light. Tom's presence always added to the quality of our meetings, and he seemed to live up to Quaker ideals without effort. He was a kind and gentle man who will be missed by everyone who knew him. Please let us know if there is anything we can do to help you in your time of grief.

Elaine and family,
You are in my thoughts and prayers and I'm so sorry for your loss. Tom first touched my life over 14 years ago when he saw something in me that I was not able to see and he gave me a chance to start over. I believe a man is truly blessed when he touches as many lives in a positive manner that Tom has. Although we're supposed to learn that we are not unique, I think that Tom was one of a kind and will be missed by thousands. What a blessing to have known him.

Elaine and Family,

You are all in our thoughts and prayers. There is no doubt in my mind that I am alive today, in great part, due to my experience of Tom. My time spent in the Blue House, nine years ago, taught me a lot about myself.

I feel blessed that Tom called me in October and I was able to spend the few minutes with him. His impact on my life is only one small facet in the many diamonds that Tom helped to cut through the years. I am truly grateful and know that he is...

To Elaine and the rest of the family:
I pray for your comfort in this time, may you find peace in knowing that Tom was one of a kind. Only those who were touched by his soul can understand this. He will live on in the spirits who will carry on his work.

My deepest sympathy goes out to the Hickey family. I only met Mr. Hickey twice where I work at United Community Bank. The first time I met him just a couple of months ago I asked him how he was doing and that is when he told me that he wasn't doing too well and that he had brain cancer and wasn't expected to live much longer but had already lived longer than expected. I really didn't know what to say except that I was sorry and I would pray for him to beat it and recover. I also told him...

Dear Elaine and family,
I know our words are of little consolation during this time, but I just wanted to let you know that each of you are in our prayers. Tom was one of God's great spiritual guides to so many people including myself, and it was my honor and pleasure to know him. He is with his creator now waiting for us to arrive. May God bless you!
