I am sorry to learn of Mr. Highsmith's passing. He was my geography teacher at Grover Cleveland Jr. High in 1955. He was an enthusiastic and motivational teacher, enriching the classroom with his experiences in WW II and Korea. I extend my sympathy to the Highsmith family.

my deepest sympathy to lucinda and all the highsmith family. I worked at the edison job corp center for 18 years and had the distinct pleasure to work for tom for many of those years. he will be greatly missed.

My heartfelt condolence to Luciana,Trey and Desyra on the loss of Tom, He was, without a doubt, a Great man (with a capital G), and his loss is truly a sad occasion. I thank God for the privelege of having known him as a teacher, mentor and friend. May he rest in peace.
