"Tommy" was my cousin, four years older than I, and even though I probably haven't seen him since around 1987, I will always have fond memories of him, his self confidence, and a big friendly grin. I suspect that the practice of law in Texas will not be quite as much fun going forward as it was last week.

Last time I saw Tom was in Federal Court in Pecos a couple of years back. I was one of the lawyers in the "I worked for Tom Hirsch" Club. Learned much from him. My condolences to Gayle and the family.
