Joan and Family:

I was deeply saddened to hear about the untimely passing of Tom. It is so hard for me to believe that he is no longer with us but he is in a better place. I know it is difficult to lose your mate but with the help of God and your wonderful family you will make it. I am so sorry that I can't be with you but at 85 and on a cane it is not so easy to get around anymore. We are spending Easter sunday at Dan's home in New Jersey. Mary Ann, Tom and Sean are here...

Both Mary Ann (Hogan) and I send our sincere sympathy to you and your family on your loss. I always admired Tom's sense of family and his love for his grandchildren. Every Christmas we enjoyed reading the past years update of your family. Although Tom has been removed from Schenectady for quite some time we still have fond memories of his Schenectady roots. Again, to you and your kids, sincere sympathy on the passing of this wonderful man who touched the lives of many.

Dear Mrs. Hogan, Colleen, Kathleen, and family,

I am so sorry to hear about Mr. Hogan. I will always remember how kind he was when I visited your home after our freshman year of college. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
