It's risky to search for old friends. I was shocked and saddened when I found Tom's obituary. He and I were very close when we were very young, and that relationship definitely influenced my later life. I tried to read what I could find about the people Tom chose to have in his life. He spent a lot of time with his family and friends, and he seemed to use that time well. It's clear to me that he cherished those relationships. Surely, people who knew him well are left with some good...
