Not sure what to say?

I'm saddened by this news. He was fun to talk to and I'm grateful for the stories he shared with me about Lord of the Flies and other projects. My sincere condolences to his family.

We appreciate having had the opportunity to meet with Mr. Hollyman during his visits to the Ransom Center and to discuss his work in film and photography. Our condolences are extended to his family as well as our thanks for his having shared his experiences so vividly and warmly with us all.

I took Mr. Hollyman on many outings while he resided at The Heritage at Gaines Ranch in Austin. He was witty, extremely sharp and so kind. I feel luck to have had a chance to go to the movies with him on many occasions and to hear his opinions on the cinema experience. I also feel happy to have arranged specific outings to suit his film tastes. I will miss you Mr. Hollyman. Denise Scioli
