Not sure what to say?

Tom knew me from Levy. But he was not my science teacher.

Oh my... I am so sorry I missed Tom's services. My condolences to the family... Tom was my Jr high teacher and we were ski instructors later in life where we laughed out Levy Jr. High experience from different perspectives. A total gentleman and a wonderful person that truly enriched my life. Hugs to Kathy ...

Grove of 100 Memorial Trees

So sorry to learn of Tom´s passing. We taught together at Levy for many years and he was a delight. Farming was truly in his blood. Tom taught the entire student body, half the grade in the fall and then switched with the health teacher for the other half mid winter. It was shortly after a switch when we had a chance to talk and I asked him," How are your new kids?" It took me a moment after his reply,"They haven´t been born yet," to realize that he thought I was asking about his goats....

It was so sad to hear the news about Tom. The obituary summed up his life so well. It truly defined what Tom was all about. I remember the first day I met Tom at Levy Middle School. He introduced himself and started to talk about all things"farming." He looked confused when he could tell I didn't understand much of what he was saying. He assumed, since I had a southern accent, that I knew what he was talking about. We had a good laugh about that . From then on, if he wanted to share some "...

I was saddened to hear of Tom´s passing. I taught with him for several years at Levy. But what I remember most is his raising a sheep for us for many years. He wanted to be able to identify our sheep so he always named ours Dean. My first name. What a sense of humor. He will surely be missed.

Dear Kathy,Dorothy and I will continue to relive many of the great memories from our Lunch Bunch,After Lunch Bunch and all the other times we´ve met over the years. So many laughs and serious talks that helped cement a tremendous friendship, and what´s best; knowing we´ll be together forever. Deep! Joe and Dorothy

Dear Aunt Kathy and cousins Tom, Becca, and Anna - I am so incredibly sorry and saddened about this news. I will always remember Uncle Tom´s gentle spirit, curiosity, love for the outdoors, and sense of humor. He was so wonderful and I wish we could have all shared more time together. Sending so much love to you all.

We are so very saddened at Tom's passing. John first met him at Levy where they taught together. He was late the first time they met and Tom showed up on his motorcycle! So many fun times were had back in those days at Levy. I remember Tom and his daughter Anna at our wedding in 1976 and we would also meet up at Levy summer reunions after we moved to Florida. The last time we saw Tom he had come to Florida and he and John ran a race in Largo. He was loving our grapefruits from our tree. He...
