Not sure what to say?

Nick and Family-
I am very sorry to hear aboot the loss of your father. Just a few months ago I actually picked up the orginal recording of The Magnificent Men. Having just moved back to the Harrisburg area I am relizing that your father had a great deal of influence on the area's music scene and beyond. He was a very respected man. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers.
Sincerely-
Chad Abers

TOMMY HOOVER WAS A VERY TALENTED GUY.I AND MY FAMILY WORKED IN THE''HOOVER'S STORE''MY BROTHER-IN-LAWS/NEPHEWS/I ENJOYED WORKING FOR HOOVER FAMILY.TOMMY'S ETERNAL JOURNEY BEGINS NOW.GOD BLESS YOU ALL.SAM MAXWELL

It's possible that I was Tommy's (that's how I knew him) very first friend. He lived in Camp Hill, Pa, one block from me. His mother and father and my parents were best friends, even went fishing in Canada together a number of times.
Tom was a tough kid, often getting into trouble. I'm glad to read that he did so well in life. I'm sorry to hear of his death, however.
My sincerest condolences to all of you.

My condolences go out to all of Tommys family. I can still hear that soulful sound of that B-3. When I wasn't playing I'd be out at the Raven listening to The Mag Men. May God Bless Him.

i read somewhere that the keyboard player for "The Men" learned his cuts, not by instructions, but by watching Tommy Hoover. I'm not a musician, but I stood behind Tommy myself, remember "The Barn"? everytime I had the chance...he knew I was there, I knew he knew I was there; and I was amazed at the way he could carry the room and , at the same time,,,. show me his "chops"

I remember seeing the Magnificent Men almost every week at the Raven nightclub in 1965/66. They were great. Sorry to hear one of them has gone to farther shores. I also have a good friend in Lake Worth FL, what a small world.

My condolences. Tom was great on the keyboards when I saw him play at the "Barn" in Camp Hill and at the "Race Track" in Lemoyne to name a few. Too bad.

Words cannot express the grief you are feeling right now. I knew Tom in high school and was a fan of the "Mag Men" for years. He wal alwyas a nicey guy. Your family will be in my prayers.

To the children and family of Tom Hoover,

I did not know your father personally, but as a young person growing up in Hershey, PA, I had a record album by the "Magnificent Men" which I absolutely loved. Being a dedicated music lover, I am always sad when a good musician dies, and from his tribute in the Patriot News, it is clear that he was talented it other ways as well. I'm sorry for your loss - I know that it is difficult to lose a parent.
