Not sure what to say?

To Mrs Sally Horton and family, my deepest and heartfelt condolences to you. Mr Tom Horton was one of the greatest men and teacher I've ever had the privilege of meeting. In school he was a great Mentor, was always there for me when I seemed to be down. And trust me, in school it seemed alot. Thank you Mr Tom Horton for being there for me. May God bless you and your family for eternity!! A friend, Alan Menzel.

Tom was one of the big reasons I went into teaching and coaching. He understood that life should be fun and you should choose a job you enjoy. When I came back to work for Kelloggsville, he would invite me to go out to lunch with him and the small group of teachers if we had an inservice day. He wouldn't let me pay for my lunch. He said that some day I would be making better money and could pay then. One day the waitress asked, "Who is going to pay, you or your dad?"The last time I saw Tom...

Tom Horton was a big help to me when I first came to Kelloggsville. He showed me that life and teaching didn't have to be so serious. So much fun wrapped into one big teddy bear of a man. Ping Pong players among others at the next level had better beware...

My family, and I, had the honor of knowing Tom and Sally for many years. We spent much time at Sage Lake with them and all the grand children. We was always so kind to all of my 5 children. He taught them to hunt turtles and frogs, showed them fox dens and took them for rides on his golf cart. I will never forget him, nor his family. You are all wonderful people. The world is a little less bright with Tom no longer with us. With much Love!!!! All of us

Mr Horton was a great teacher, super nice guy fun sense of humor. He was class of 1983 advisor and chaperoned our senior trip to Florida.
Condolences to his family.

Sally and Family, I was very sad to hear this. I have wonderful memories of Tom. When we were neighbors in Caledonia and when we came up to the Lake and visited. I remember swimming out to the raft and everyone cheering me on. You are all in my thoughts and prayers.

God Bless,
