Thomas Andrew “Andy” Howland of Crawfordsville passed away at his home. He was 47.
Andy loved playing cards, especially D & D, with his friends and was in a regular Tuesday night group. He also liked video games and travelling to South Dakota to pheasant hunt with his father and friends. An avid reader, he was a Libertarian and a strong believer in personal freedom. He worked as a salesman at several places, including Chicago, Los Angeles, Lafayette, Indianapolis, and locally at Town & Country. More recently, he was taking care of his parents and was very devoted in doing so.
Born January 1, 1970 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Dr. Carl Bruce Howland and Bonnybell Sekema Howland. He graduated from North Montgomery, class of 1988, attended Wabash and University of Southern Florida and was a member of the Kappa Sig fraternity.
Surviving family includes: his parents, Dr. Carl Bruce Howland and Bonnybell Howland; his brother, Jeffery Bruce (Darla) Howland; niece, Elizabeth Howland; nephew, Eric Howland; nephew, Aaron Sudduth; niece, Amber Carrigan and; aunt, Dorothy Brennan.
He was preceded in death by a sister, Tracy.
There will be no public services. Private services will be held and his remains laid to rest in the Oak Hill Mausoleum. Arrangements were entrusted to Burkhart Funeral Home.
Donations in his memory may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County, 1104 Big Four Arch Road, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.

People named Thomas are special-all people are special - each in his own way. We never got to know your Thomas Andy. I'm sure because he is a part of a unique family he is to be remembered fondly.
