Not sure what to say?

I Don't know if anyone will see this and really sad I just found out about this. I attended every class Tom Hughes taught at KVCC, He was the first and only Professor at KVCC (and I have been there for a while now.) That truly taught and spoke I how I assumed a professor would was the person who made me truly love learning and exploring the depths of subjects (especially History) He was not only hilarious, but one if not the most knowledgeable people I have met. He was old school and didn't...

Hughes was 100% the best professor I had when I was at KVCC. He was an entertaining teacher, both in-person and online, with or without the Henry VIII costum. Honestly, he's probably the reason why I chose to study public history. If there is anything I could do to help his family, I would be happy to do so.

My name is Marylan Hightree. I used to help Tom with computer issues at KVCC. He was always chewing on a toothbrush. Silly man. I was able to attend part of Tom´s memorial Saturday but had to leave early because I had another memorial to attend that morning. Some of Tom´s friends were out of town but wanted to hear about the service. Tom´s sister sang a song to the tune of Yesterday. Could you share the lyrics with us? He was so clever.

Colorful Tribute Bouquet

As a former colleague of Tom's, I often chatted with him...enjoying those moments and his wisdom. It was obvious that he was passionate about his teaching at KVCC. I am so sorry for your loss and send my condolences to the family and other loved ones. Blessings to all. Roxanne
