Not sure what to say?

My condolenses to the Huntley family.
With memories of chuch picnics and christmas parties what I remember most was my anticipation every year of the Huntley family Christmas card.
I am sure that my Mom (Agnes) and my Dad (Jim Cliffe) were there to welcome Tom to the congregation on the other side..

We have just read about Tom's passing. We both have fond memories of growing up in Brentwood and the Huntley house on the corner that was always so busy (like ours). Our father, Charlie Hurly, passed away on September 27, 2009 at the age of 92. It seems like we were all one great big family back then. Our condolenses to Elsie and all of the family .

Maureen (Hurly) Moore (Brampton,On) and Sharon Hurly (Toronto, On)

Tom was a wonderful friend to my mom, Laura Charles, and used to drive Elsie to visit her every week for years. I will remember his wonderful laugh, great sense of humour and incredible talent. Our deepest sympathy to Elsie and all his famly.

My brother Philip and I were neighbours for many years, and my mother, Esther, has always loved Tom's art. Mum and Dad had a real sense of friendship for both Tom and Elsie. We shall let them know about this loss -- they are now in Chilliwack. We join together in remembering Tom's life and extend our condolences to Elsie and all of the family.

Tom taught me to jitterbug so many years ago. He and Elsie were so good to me when we all lived in Brentwood.

My memories are numerous and special.
His upbeat outlook was inspiring. Last time we visited him at his place, he had a large magnifying glass attached to his easel, as he continued his love of painting.

I'll miss Tom. I know he is enjoying a scotch with my parents in Heaven.

Sincere condolences to the Huntley family and much love to dear, Elsie.
