Not sure what to say?

The Tom Ide golf tournament was held today July 9, 2007. Eighteen holes were played. After the annual event was over, BBQ hotdogs, baked beans, and Coors Light were served. A plate was made for Tom and placed on a table at the 18th green. This hole is reached by crossing Tom's Bridge which crosses Trina's Pond. Vince Tejera was the winner by 3 strokes in a down to the wire finish over Richard Sculley, Tom's common-law brother-in-law; as Tom liked to say. A wonderful time was had by all....

When I first met Tom,he first seemed like a city person new to the rural farm setting. I feel like I really blew him away when I put so much trust in him to take over and help me. He learned quickly how to operate all the equiptment and of course was a perfectionist. What a wonderful person he was. Seldom do people come into your life that you become so close to so fast and you can really count on. I will miss him dearly, my family got so used to his gentle manner and him always being around....

Tom and I were friends and co-workers for 10 years before circumstances brought us together to this, the final page in our story. He became my best friend...my soulmate.
We spent the last five years together, pursuing new challenges and experiences. We lived every day as if it would be our last and I have no regrets that any of our time might have been wasted. I watched Tom become an accomplished ballroom dancer, particularly the latin dances, believe it or not (if you knew him). We spent...

"Yo, Annette" he'd say when I came over their place. Always interested in what I had to say. Respectful to everyone he met. He was always there to lend a helping hand. I've never met someone who touched so many peoples lives. He was in the prime of his life, so happy. I'm so glad that I got a chance to know him and that we became friends. He will live on in my heart and fond memories.

To the Ide family, I just want to express my deepest condolences in the passing of Tommy.I know of Him through Jim whom I went to St.James with. The passing of a loved one is always painful especially at a young age. What ever pain you may have, just remember the good days with Tommie and things will be better.
May God bless all.
