Thomas Irish Jr.

Dr. Irish performed 2 surgeries for our son 30 years ago. We still remember him by his kind demeanor and words. A very humble and soft spoken man. He was a class act that embodied his profession and the best bed side manners when interacting with his patients. Sorry for your loss and through our memories he is in our hearts and prayers. I met Dr. and Mrs. Irish through Bob of while I attended high school with. Both Mr and Mrs Irish were and are wonderful people. I know Dr. Irish changed so many lives with the talent he possessed, including mine after an accident to my lip and gums. The ER doc at St. Joes said I’d take about 13 stitches and I thought “No way, I know a guy” Dr. Irish came to the ER and patched me up. 40 stitches later it looks as if nothing ever happened. I worked with Dr. Irish in the operating room at St. Joseph’s from 1975 to 2000. He was an amazing surgeon and so wonderful to work with. He had such a great sense of humor, surprising his patient’s who had surgery around Halloween by wearing a Halloween mask into the OR. I have many fond memories of him. My prayers go out for Sandy and his entire family.
