Dear Aunt Rita, Susanne, John, Jeanette and Peter,

I am deeply saddened by the passing of such a wonderful man as Uncle Tom. It comforts me to think of the many good and happy memories I have of you all. Even though my Dad at times could not express himself; he held Uncle Tom in the highest regard, retelling time and again their boyhood adventures and their happy and sad times together. Good men like Uncle Tom do not come along very often. I am truly thankful for having known him....

I met Tom some 25 years ago when he asked me to help a long-time client with a land use matter. As a young attorney, i was honored by the confidence that he showed in me and together we achieved his desired result for his client. We remained good friends over the years. Tom was the kind of lawyer i have respected and aspired to be in all those years. Philip E. San Filippo

The Young family of Highlands Ranch Colorado sends its condolences to the Jardines.

Rita and John,

One is sincerely blessed to have the experience of knowing a "true gentleman". I will always remember Tom for his ready smile and greetings. He will be missed. We are sorry we were not able to attend the service.

Uncle Tommy, a hero in our family. With love and prayers.

To Rita and the family: My heart goes out to you as I, myself, weep at this loss of a great man. I am proud that I was able to work with him for over 30 years and enjoy that part of his life. I not only respected him for his high morals but also for his generosity and love of family. We were his "office family" and he never failed us ever. We love him for that! He earned a special place in our hearts and in heaven. Barbara Dircks, Waterford, Michigan
