Not sure what to say?

I am deeply saddened to learn of Tom´s passing and wanted to extend my belated sympathy to his family. Tom is a true friend and will always be an inspiration. I am happy to have been part of his orbit. "To live in the hearts we leave behind is to live forever." - Carl Sagan Belinda (high school friend)

Tom was my best friend in grade school growing up in Whittier. Sad to hear of his passing.

Tom gave me a hand at a time when I really needed it, he trusted me and since then many doors have opened in my life. It's incredible how much a little help at the right time can impact someone's life, and I think Tom knew that very well. Thank you for everything, Tom!

Ciao Tom! Ci mancherai! Marina, Sergio, Camilla

Rest in Peace Tom. My thoughts and prayers are with your family my old friend.

We are so sorry to hear of your passing. May you rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family and friends during this very difficult time. -Michael A. Marrantino & Nicole Marrantino

I'll miss my father for the rest of my life. I cannot begin to explain how much he meant to me. He was an excellent mentor in his field, but also with his loved ones. He was passionate beyond belief and had such a distinct way of existing that knowing him left you forever changed. His influence will continue to ripple outwards long after he's been gone. July 1 the galaxies cried with me.

Our sincerest condolences go to Tom's family. Our lives were richer for having Tom as a colleague and friend. It was an honor to work with him closely on 2MASS and WISE, and his many contributions cannot be overestimated. I'll especially miss tearing up the golf course with you, Tom.

Tom, I am keeping a light on for you, starlight shining from within myself. I will be right here. Chris and I send love and thanks to our whole family and wonderful friends. —Michelle (Sister)
