Dear Donna,

I was unable to attend Tom's funeral because of my ministerial commitments in Washington, DC and the Pentagon. I am the ecclesiastical endorser of chaplains for the military and VA hospitals for my denomination. Otherwise, I would have been there.

My deepest sympathies to Donna, Mary Conyears and the entire family in the loss of such a remarkable businessman and fine family man and father. With a great saddened heart, the entire family will be in my daily prayer journal for many years as the family grieves.

What a fantastic man he was! His energy was boundless, his zest for life uncomparable, and his love for family and friends ran so deep. He left such a positive mark on my life as well as the lives of many others. I will always hold dear the experiences we shared and also the invaluable business and life lessons I learned from him. I am so fortunate to have had him as a friend. He will be greatly missed.

Thomas, We will miss you deeply. You have touched our lives so much for all you have done.
