I was so surprised to see the guest book back on line. I hope all Jessens are well. I have a favor to ask of any one of you...I have tried to contact Teresa and Barbara...by phone and when we have been in the twin cities...but have had no luck in reaching either of them. we will be up there for a funeral this upcoming week and I would love to talk to them. Please send a phone number to [email protected]. Thank you so much....Love to all the Jessens. Toodie McN

Dear Therese and all the Jessen's:
My heartfelt prayers and sympathy go out to all of you. He was my teacher in high school, my neighbor at Irvine Hills and a great friend.
He'll be sadly missed by all!

Tom Jessen was a good man and an excellent teacher. I was in an On-the-Job Training program in my senior year at Wilson High School. He was the instructor. He was a great help to me as I worked my way through a difficult year. In the end, I learned clerical work was not for me. That was an important thing to learn at a young age. That job made me decide to go to college and become a teacher--a wonderful decision. Tom's guidance during this period was helpful and important.

Dear Teresa, Barbara, and all the rest of the Jessens. We were so sorry to hear of Tom's passing and so very grateful for having had the opportunity to see and visit with him at the cousins' picnic at Marge and Mark's back in August. I feel it was a real blessing that we were in St. Paul at that time and that he was able to be at the picnic. We had such a good time, reviewing old times!! He was a gem...but of course you all know that. You are all in our prayers during this difficult time. ...

Dear Ted and the whole Jessen Family,
I am deeply sorry for your loss, I really don't have the right words to express my sympathy. What I do know is that you guys, Thomas' kids and grandchildren are his legacy and I know he is looking down proud at the people he left here and the way he raised you. My thoughts and prayers are with you

My sincere sympathy to the Jessen family. In the Fall of 1966 Tom and Bill Becker hired me to teach some evening classes at the St. Paul Vo Tech school. It was a wonderful privilege to work for such fun fellows who were always so upbeat and encouraging. Had lost track in recent years but will always, always have the fondest of memories of Tom and Bill. Peace be with all of your families today---and always.
