Not sure what to say?

I was saddened to hear of Tom's passing after a search online this morning. I wanted Betty and family know that even though I switched specialities after my internship year, I was led to FP only because after a mentoring opportunity with Tom I had always wanted '... to be like Tom Johnson'. The relationship he had with his patients was so influential to me, and I will always cherish the memories of having had the privilege to know and work with Dr. Tom.

Loved working at FM with this kind and gentle man. I learned quite a lot from him as well. I'm truly saddened to hear this news. My deepest sympathy to Betty and his family.

I was fortunate to meet Tom through the Master Gardener program. Tom was such a kind man and I enjoyed our conversations during our shared volunteer days. I will miss him. My thoughts and prayers are with his wife, Betty, his children, and the rest of his family.

I was one of Toms very first patients. he was a fantastic Dr. and friend, will miss.

I was one of Toms first patients at Mercy Hospital, what a great man and Dr. will miss him greatly, Vince

I had the privilege of working close with Dr Johnson. I was so very sad to hear the news! My prayers and thoughts are with Betty and the rest of the Johnson family.

To Paul Johnson and Family,
I know I speak for the entire Express Scripts Family in saying, you have our deepest sympathy for the loss of Mr. Johnson. Paul and the entire family will be in our thoughts and prayers during this time. May your family be blessed by God's peace.

I was blessed to have Dr. Tom Johnson as a teacher and friend while I was a resident at St. John's Mercy from 1980 to 1983. I remember his smile and kindness. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched.
