My family and me are going to really miss Scott he was always such a good listener and he always enjoyed seeing my kids when my mom would have all of us over for weekend dinners... Thanks for good memories Scott and thoughts and prayers to his family

I am saddened to learn of Scott's death. I have many great memories of growing up together. I last saw Scott several years ago and am grateful for the extended conversation we had that afternoon. He was truly a good person. My prayers are with the entire Johnston family during this difficult time.

Scott was an amazing soul. Something missing from his obituary was that he was part of the Big Brothers program, that is how I met Scott at age 13. 47 years later Scott was still that Big Brother. He had such a special place in my family even after his role as my Big Brother, he was the Godfather of my youngest.
