Tom was a true mentor for me during my career with Oxy. He and Barbara even adopted our cat when we moved to the Oxy North Sea project for 3 1/2 years.
We continued to talk and email over the last 30 years. Fun to travel with but when the plane landed I learned to keep up or be left wondering where he went. I remember the first time when he got to the next gate and boarded a earlier flight and left without me. I should have known those sneakers he wore weren't just for looks. So...

Tom was a great friend and boss. I still remember him zipping into the parking lot in that little MG. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
