Not sure what to say?

Dr Kain operated on my Ruptured Achilles free of charge because I didn't have insurance. I would have been a cripple if he hadn't. I just learned of his death 15 years after he passed. I've been looking for him for years to thank him. There are no words. God rest his Soul. Thank you Doctor. You made such a big impact on my life.

My wife and I just learned of your loss, and add our belated sympathies. Tom was always a reliable and friendly face, an advocate for his patients.

Dear Kain Family: We are so very sorry to hear of your loss and will miss Dr. Kain tremendously. My mother has arterial disease and had a few wounds that would not heal. There was a time that we were seeing Dr. Kain once a week and he made us feel confident that he would help and certainly did mentally and physically. We will never forget him or how very kind he was. He always had a smile and a kind word to say. Our thoughts and prayers are with you at this difficult time. Warmest...

Dear Kain Family,

It is with deep sadness that I learn of your loss. I met Dr. Kain about 20 years ago when he treated my mother. He quickly became her favorite doctor. His caring, treatment and bedside manner made a patient with many complications feel at ease and assured of recovery. I would run into him from time to time, and he never forgot her and always asked how mom was. He even stoped to check in on her and say hello when she was back in the hospital for other...

Dear Kain Family,
I am sorry for this difficult time in your lives. I had the pleasure of working with Dr. Kain at the Mercy Fitzgerald Wound Center for a few years. I learned a lot from him as he always was willing to take the time to talk. I enjoyed his energy for medicine and admired his caring way with his patients. I hope to bring as much compassion to my patients over the years as he did. I will certainly miss our many conversations about sports, especially the Phillies, as he was...

Dear Kain Family:

I was so sorry to learn about your tremendous loss. I fondly recall your father's kind, encouraging, and light-hearted presence at many swim meets. As a kid, I felt you were fortunate to have him as a father. God bless you.

Dear Mary and Family,

I am so sorry for your great loss. Please be assured of my prayers for you and Tom. God bless!
Love,
Judy Desmond O'Shea

32 some years ago, I was a boy of about 9 years old. I broke my leg and Dr Kain was my doctor. I will never, ever forget him, he was so nice and I felt safe and in good hands when he treated me. He was a great man and my heartfelt condolences and prayers go out to his family.

You are all in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Not only did I and my mom (Maureen Kampes) have the privilege of working with Dr. Kain at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital but we always used to joke that Tom Kain was our “family orthopedist” as everyone in the family had broken an ankle or had some other orthopedic ailment at some point. Dr. Kain was an amazing surgeon and caring physician and will never be forgotten!
