KAMPMANN, Thomas G. April 11, 1929 - January 21, 2016 Tom Kampmann passed peacefully surrounded by family and his dog, Willow, at 86 in Santa Rosa. Born in Brainard, MN, Tom moved to Santa Rosa as a young man and lived on his farm for 60 years. Tom served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War....

Tom and I became close friends in the late 60's, early 70's and although I moved on from Santa Rosa, we shared a common thread through our heart. Tom was dangerously handsome, most said Paul Newman but there were others mentioned. But as he was handsome he has/had a magnificent soul, very kind, very loving, and extremely loyal. Hopefully I will see him soon to tell him we all loved him and now miss him and then we will have a beer.

I was one of those juvenile hall kids. Whenever I ran into Mr Kampmann he was always so happy to see me and that I had done well. He was a very kind man.
