Dad is a father to four boys. Frank, Brian, Chris, and Thomas Jr. With the Good Lord's blessing he and Mom gave us life, he passed on his athletic DNA as we enjoyed and shared his love of sport. He was a Fairmount boy that had planned to go to Roman Catholic High but due to capacity constraints had to bus to St. John Neumann in South Philly. He played basketball and the team won it's first Catholic League championship. He was an excellent left handed first baseman and had a tryout with the...

I spent most of the first 18 years of my life enjoying it with Tom. He was a good friend & schoolmate who sadly I have not seen in almost 50 years.

I am very sorry about the loss of your family member. You are in our thoughts and we extend our deepest sympathies. Remember that our grand Creator also cares about your sadness.

I am so sorry to hear of Tommy's death. To me, he was the best all around athlete ever to live in Fairmount. His ability to excel in Football, Basketball, Track, and Baseball, were second to nobody. A man only has a small window in life to make his mark, and Tom went thru his a long time ago. I wish his family well, and hope they can look back at the Tommy Kaufman I knew and liked very much.
