Not sure what to say?

You´ve been gone seventeen years now. I can´t believe it´s been so long. So much has happened since then, I wish I could tell you about it. I still have your old toolbox you made, other than the memory of you it´s the only thing I have left to remember you by. I love you and know you´re in a better place. No matter how old I get, you´ll always be my papaw.

My Brother, Paul Keathley, was the third-born of ten and I was the seventh. We were sort of raised in two families - so did not know each other very well for a good number of years. Since my husband and I moved back to Oklahoma two years ago, we were enjoying getting acquainted again. It was so nice to visit with him and Maxine. He had gardening, yard and building tips for us. We were certainly not ready to lose him and will miss him greatly. He was a wonderful Brother.

It's no secret that Paul had a gardener's touch. His lush lawn and gardens are the result of his tender love and special care. As beautiful as they are though, I believe they pale in comparison to what Paul has cultivated in so many people's hearts. My garden is richer because of your love and concern over my life Paul, and I cannot fathom the beauty of the spiritual gardens you now have the opportunity to see. My dear neighbor and friend, I see your eyes filled with joy and the smile of...

Paul was a gentle man of few words. You could never "out give" him. His garden was a vision of beauty. He loved you, Paula, and was so thrilled when Bo came into your life. He will surely be missed by all of us here on earth, but is busy in Heaven with his Savior.

Uncle Paul was a very nice and humourous man. He liked to laugh and joke around with his friends and family. I enjoyed getting to know him at several family reunions.

Paul always had that beautiful smile every time I saw him.
The lecturn he built for the Builders SS Class room is so pretty and I treasure the gourd bird nest he made for me.

Paul was a very generous, kind and loving person. One morning in Sunday School Class, I expressed a need for a warm coat for a young adult male, whose home had been distroyed by fire. After Sunday School, Paul handed me a roll of money and said," Go buy this man a coat". What a real man to know and understand the needs of others and does what the scriptures tell us.Matt.25:40- Love, Wally and Merlin Harris

Goodbye old friend, will I miss you? you bet I will. To put it in Paul's classic response "Why Certainly".

Paul Keathley is my brother. He was 17 when I was born and in World War II when I was old enough to remember. He was always kind and supportive of me. I have been told that he rode a horse to Lamar to get the Doctor when I was born. I believe he was truely a member of "The Greatest Generation".
