Not sure what to say?

Tom Keenan was a force in my life on high school. His straight forward, no nonsense approach to both teaching and life was admirable. His class was one I looked forward to each morning. I even hit a few golf balls into his back yard while playing Limerick GC. In years following graduation, whenever I was asked who my favorite teacher was, my response was immediate. Thomas J Keenan. I was delighted to learn a couple of years ago that the PVHS stadium bears his name. I hope his...

My name is Chris Engel, I graduated for Perkiomen Valley High School in 1973. Im not sure this will ever be read, because he has been gone for sometime. Lessons I use everyday in life that I learned in his class stick (world culture, history) with me to this day, so much that I felt compelled to reach out. I have a successful business here in Columbus Ohio, three daughters and a happy marriage. I wasnt a great student, graduated from PSU in 1977. I still have family in the Delaware Valley.

The best teacher I ever had we need more like him today Thank God for Tom Keenan

Mr. Keenan was the best teacher i had at PVHS, Class of 1972. No nonsense from the first day. Very fair. Driven to make leaders. He turned the mush-filled brains that he was given into critical thinkers, well educated citizens with compassion. Thank you Mr. Keenan!

An inspirational, comical teacher to which no one could compare. PVHS was lucky to have such a man teach insatiable teenagers. What does that have to do with the price of Wheaties? Thank God I had Mr Keenan. You earned the teacher of year award for years and years for all the students that knew you. Thank you Mr Keenan, for making a subject that I was not at all interested in, interesting. May God rest your soul and your family pass on your knowledge. By family, I mean all of PVHS students...

Mr. Keenan. You were an inspiration to any student that had you. You were right. You didn't just teach government, you taught us about the facts of life and we love you for it. Your stories about "little iodine" and your funny analogies with" whats that got to do with the price of wheaties" ... your memory lives throughout my heart. My prayers go out to you and your family. And I hate to ask a favor, but you are the perfect man to do it. Please look after my good friend Tommy Hunt. You were a...

A great teacher who will be sadly
missed. Thanks...

You are truly a great man and teacher, I learned a lot from you as well as did everyone else Im sure. Memories still ring thru my head of you saying " Keenan says..." " Nice words Keenan..." Those are memories that will last a life time as well as your teachings. You always had a smile and alwasy were understanding, even if sometime we didn't understand you. You truly will be missed. I'm sure Tommy and you are having some laughs. Take care of him and Class 2001 will always remember the...
