Dr. Tom was a very special mentor of mine---always available, very supporting, openly willing to experiment with some of the "from the trenches" approaches Earl Stormo contrived to turn guys like me loose to test new ways of making "non-traditional" student education more effective, applicable @ lowest costs in terms of time & $$$$.
