Read MoreAlthough I did not know him personally, it was through my research on the membership of the British Astronomical Association that I became aware of his name. He was elected on 1947 June 25, while resident at Oxford. I am not sure when he resigned. He did not hold any posts, and so far as I am aware he did not published in the Journal. May he rest in peace.

I have many, many fond memories of Tom from working at UMC, which later became Banner Hospital. Sending lots of love, prayers and hugs to his family. I know that he is greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
