I remember going to their home, down the street from where we lived, to retrieve my younger sister who had gone to play with Roseann. He would be working on his art work, and a few times took the time to teach me some of his knowledge. I was 11 years old at the time. In later years as a teen I met the family again, I was dating a colleague's son from Greenwood school.

I have many good memories of Mr. Kinsey at Greenwood Lab School in the 1960s and 70s. Classmates and I liked spending free periods in his art classroom even when we weren't in art class because of his kind spirit and humor. When we nicknamed him "Tom, Buddy" he knew it was out of both general irreverence and real affection, and he tolerated it with bemusement. He will be greatly missed.

My condolences to the family. I will always remember Tom's contributions to Education. He left lasting memories. I always enjoyed hearing his opinion about different topics and admired his art. Rest in peace dear friend.

"Mr Kinsey" was so important in not only my life but many other local Art Teachers. He was an amazing teacher, mentor and artist. He was influential in leading us by example in our careers. He will be missed but his legacy will live on. I would appreciate information on the future memorial service.
My thoughts and prayers are with all who's lives he has touched.
