It is July 23, 2025, something said to me to look Tom up by going to obituaries and there he was. I am so heart broken to read this. My prayers go to each family member and especially to Doris, he love you so much. I started working with Tom at Presbyterian Hospital in 1975. I also retired from there, I learned so much from Tom, his dedication and love to his work was something I never saw in another person. I was always so proud of him. I have a few childhood memories of my Uncle Tom. I remember as a child growing up, when auntie 1said no to something, he would sometimes go behind her by bending the rules to say yes. Don't get it twisted aunties house, aunties rules. BUT !.. SOMETIMES, unc just had to say yes!..Summertime, summer memories with aunty and Uncle Tom.. may U rest in peace and in my ❤ of memories . Today we layed to rest the man I know, love and cherish - my father Thomas Kirkley Sr. he will always have a special place in my heart. I cherished the moments we did share and God orchestrated us to make peace with each other during his final days. My father’s spirit will forever be a part of my journey, reminding us that love can take on many forms and forgiveness is a powerful and meaningful gift. Rest in eternal peace.
