Not sure what to say?

Tom and I were classmates at Western Military Academy in Alton, Illinois. Tom was a great football player but where he really excelled was on the wrestling mat. I was in Vietnam at about the same time Tom was. My parents sent me a letter and inside was a newspaper clipping of Tom giving one of his Marine buddies one of his purple hearts at his buddies funeral. His friend had been killed by a bolt of lightning for which a purple heart wasn't awarded. RIP my Old Friend.

Dan, I am so sorry about the passing of Tom. The only thing I do know and I have heard you say it my whole life, is that I am glad God is in control. Hang in there buddy, I am praying for you and the family.

We are so sorry to hear of Tom's passing. Our deepest sympathy to Joy and all of the family.

Dear Kline family,
Your father was very dear to us. He came out on a very cold snowy night to honor our son when he died 3 yrs ago.
Cowboy and my husband shared a love of Texas Hold'em, and they had many good times at Woody's.
Our hearts go out to all of you. A fine man has fallen.

Tom was a loving father and stepfather. He was a very caring and giving man. May his soul rest in peace in Heaven above.

My heart goes out to Tom's sister Joy and the family. He blessed many lives and our nation.

This picture is how I remember Tom! When I was 18, I saw a guitar that I wanted so badly in a music store, but was unable to afford it. I mentioned it to Tom and he immediately pulled out his wallet and gave me the money to buy it! He was a good brother-in-law to me and kind hearted! RIP Friend.

Stan called me with the news. I'm shocked and saddened. He was a good man. I'm glad he had the love of all of his children. He loved all you kids (and grandkids) a bunch. My heart, thoughts and prayers are with you all.

Will be greatly missed.Great friend and enjoyed working with him..Loved by All..
