Not sure what to say?

We were at Thomas's grandson's Christening yesterday and Nancy told me about the nice things being said about my brother in this tribute. She can't read it yet but she knows what's been said and really appreciates the kind thoughts. I'm glad I read this, even though it hurts. It is so hard to believe he and Peggy are gone. The family still gets together a lot but it will never be the same. Today, we're going to Thomas & Nancy's for St. Patrick's Day corned beef and cabbage feast (the...

Tommy and his dearest

I would like to say thank you so much to the Gallaghers for maintaining this guest book for my father. I know you loved him dearly. I am Tommy's youngest daughter, Kerin. I can't express how proud it makes me to read about all the kindness and love my father brought to so many people. It has been five months since he left us and people are still sharing such beautiful emotions and stories with us. I guess that's going to be happening for some time considering the type of man he was. My...

Last Sunday at church while listening to the homily, my mind started to wander as it often does at this point of the mass. I started to think about the first time I met Tommy. Unfortunately for me, it wasn't all that long ago. I had lunch with a few friends and when they were leaving, they said they had to stop by a wake and asked if I would mind going along before they dropped me off. As fate would have it, the wake was for Tommy's mom, a most unlikely place for a friendship to be born....

Every day we our missing our Pop-pop more and more. I'm so thankful to be a part of his family and very honored to say that he is my father-in-law. For the past several months I would hear people talking about him wherever I went, discussing how amazing of a man he is. I feel very special I was included in his morning visits, and love hearing stories about him, especially from my children.

All our thoughts and prayers are with the Knobel family . Its hard to believe he's not here with us anymore. Big Tom will be dearly missed by all. He was like a 2nd father to all of us kids growing up, a great role model to look up to and to follow in his foot steps would be nothing more than any one person could hope to achieve in their lifetime. Thanks for all the help you gave us through out the years. We all can say that we are all better people for having known Tom. Midland Beach has...

I am deeply sadened by his passing.

I had the honor of meeting Mr.Thomas Knobel under unfortunate circumstances. He was waiting in the emergency room for a bed. He managed to be pleasant and kind even though he was so ill. He reminded me so much of my father who had passed. You will surely be missed by all the people whose life you had touched. God bless you
