Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Tom, he was truly one of the nicest men I have ever known. Tom had this remarkable sense of humor that would brighten anyones day. There are so many fond memories of spending time with him in Saginaw, Tawas in the summers and skiing in the winters. My heart goes out to the wonderful Kretschmer family.

Heartfelt condolences from an old friend of Ann's. I too was one of the neighborhood kids who loved just hanging out there with friends. Good times. Although I only knew Tom as Ann and Connie's cool, good looking older brother, there is no greater tribute than to be remembered as the man that he became as described by those that knew him best. May the memories bring comfort and peace during this difficult time.
Fondly, Claudia Smits Miller

My deepest sympathy to the Kretschmer family. As a fellow St. Mary's graduate I remember all the good times at the Cathedral. The obit brought back many memories of growing up on east side Saginaw and the many activities at Hoyt Park. My paper route was on Howard. Owen, and Jefferson streets not far from the Kretschmer home. May life continue to treat all of you well and may you continue to live well also. Ann,, very sorry in the loss of your brother. Hope you are doing well.

I am very sorry to hear of Tom's passing. I worked with him for many years at Hemlock Middle School. To the kids in Hemlock he was " Mr. Wizard" My two son's we so lucky to have the guidance in Science from Tom. To me he was a very special Friend. My Prayers and Thoughts go out to the family.

To Mary and the Kretschmer family, my condolences in your loss of brother and son. I played football with Tom at St.Marys [great guy].May all your memories of Tom be joyous ones. Rest in peace Tom

Mary, sorry to hear about your brother Tom's passing. I hadn't seen him in years but it doesn't seem so long ago when we were all growing up in the old neighborhood and attending St. Mary's together. Our sympathy to all of the Kretschmer family.

Tom's obituary is the best tribute to a life well treasured ever written. Our memories are priceless and only relived through shared stories and pictures like the ones posted of Tom. I was one of those neighborhood kids in school with the Kretchmer Family and those days are precious to me. Rest in Peace Tom and may all your days in Heaven be Disney Days. The staff at Meadow View love you dearly.
