Thomas Krowicki Obituary

Ilion - Mr. Thomas Michael Krowicki, 83, of Ilion, passed away peacefully on Friday, September 19, 2025, at the Wynn Hospital in Utica.

Born on January 23, 1942, in Little Falls, Thomas was the son of the late Alojzy and Margaret Ivan Krowicki. He attended Ilion schools and went on to spend much of his career as a dedicated polisher with Remington Arms Co. in Ilion, where he worked with pride and diligence. He served in the US Army from 1961 until his Honorable Discharge in 1964. He was married to Judith VanCour on August 6, 1966 in the Church of the Annunciation. The two shared a blessed union until Judith's passing in 1981.

He is survived by one son, John Krowicki and his companion, Cindy Reese of Little Falls; one daughter, Melissa her husband, Randy Patterson of Goshen, IN; grandchildren, Tyler Krowicki and his wife, Amanda, Jena Krowicki and her companion, Mike, Patrick Patterson and his wife, Jasmine, Justyn Krowicki and his companion, Tara, Daniel Hectus and his fiancé, Shelby and Phoenix Krowicki; many great-grandchildren; his Goddaughter, Sandra Healey-Monohan and many nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will take place on Friday, September 26, 2025 at 10:30 am in Calvary Cemetery, Herkimer. All are welcome to attend. In keeping with Thomas' wishes, there will be no public calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, 100 Otsego Street, Ilion, NY 13357.
