Not sure what to say?

It has been a year of transitions for everyone. I think about Tom daily and remember his great love for his family and quick humor and gentle ways. Sometimes when I am out I see someone walking and I have to take a second look reminding me of him and remembering what a big heart he had. I am very grateful and honored to have so many wonderful memories. I miss him so much, but he is in my heart, and that is such a beautiful gift. Love and Blessings, Judy

News came to me today of Tom's passing. I send you, Joyce, my love, and I hope that the Lord will ease you through this sad time.

I just heard of Tom's illness and now his passing away. Tom was such a wonderful person to work for. He was such an example of what a person should be. He was a very big influence on my life. It was honor to know and work for him. The world has lost a very special person. May God Bless you and your family during this sad time.

Tom was a very special man to me. He always had a smile and a good word to say. Even when things were going rough, Tom always cheered you up just by the way he would smile and pat you on the back. Joyce, please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers. May God bless you you with His strength and presence in all the days ahead.

Heard of Tom's passing less than an hour ago and now am off to attend the funeral for this gentle, kind man and life long friend. RIP, TK!

Tom is in a better place where he is not suffering. I speak for my mother and myself when I say we have also lost a family member with Tom's passing. Mom is so weak she is unable to speak much of the time, but with a nod. I have yet to tell her of Tom's passing. I know our two families have gone back to the late 40's at least. I know most of my family will not be able to attend the funeral. Two of us (Chuck and myself) are not able to drive right now due to surgery, and Ann living in...

Dear family,
Jamie and I are with you in spirit this sad day. We are both richer for having known Tom, and I believe the world is a better place because he has been here. Surely there is a joyful family reunion going on in Heaven now! And knowing Tom, he'll save us all seats at his table.
Love, Zo (Kunz) and Jamie Newell

What a sad day. Tom was a wonderful example for me on how to be kind, gracious and keep a sense of humor even in the face of difficulty. I wish that I would have had one more chance to say hello and goodbye to him. He is the perfect description of a gentleman.

To Tom's Family,
I was so sorry to hear about Tom's homegoing. I enjoyed skating with him at Blaine and hearing the stories about his younger days. I especially thought it was so great how he enjoyed the Scandinavian Christmas traditions with the family. Love and prayers to you all.
